Operation Steel Wave is the the seventeenth expansion for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. It adds two new Operators from NIGHTHAVEN and the South African ITF. The expansion also features a rework of House.
It was formally announced on February 16th, 2020 during the Six Invitational 2020 and teased on May 13, 2020. The expansion was fully revealed on May 18, 2020 and became available on the Test Server on May 19, 2020. It is set to be released worldwide in June 2020 with Season Pass owners having access to the expansion a week early.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege est un jeu vidéo de tir tactique développé par Ubisoft Montréal et édité par Ubisoft, sorti le 1er décembre 2015 sur PlayStation 4, Xbox One et Windows. Pour 2020, l'éditeur a annoncé lors du Six Invitational 2020, à Montréal, une cinquième année fonctionnant comme les précédentes. Les pays choisis pour cette année 5 sont : les Pays-Bas et la Jordanie pour la saison 1. La Norvège et d'Afrique du Sud pour la saison 2. Pour la saison 3 ce sera désormais 1 opérateur par saison, ce sera la Thaïlande et pour la saison 4 Le rework d'un opérateur ( Castle ou Tachanka )
Pour le premier DLC de la cinquième année, nommé Opération Void Edge 32,une membre du REU, Iana, et le jordanien Oryx sont implementés. Il y a également la refonte de la carte Oregon.
Pour le second DLC de la cinquième année, nommé Opération Steel Wave , un membre de Nighthaven, Ace et une membre de la Task Force Inkaba chargé de la lutte contre le braconnage sont implémentés. Il y a également la refonte de la carte Maison
