Logan Paul Returns With Suicide: Be Here Tomorrow - Reaction and Analysis
1,360Logan Paul returned to YouTube yesterday with a video entitled Suicide: Be Here Tomorrow. The video is a combination of an apology for what many saw as an insensitive move by displaying a dead body in his Japanese suicide forest video and a suicide awareness campaign. In the video, Logan Paul speaks with people who survived suicide as well as experts on suicide prevention.
In creating this video, Logan Paul has opened himself to a lot of criticism. For some people, no apology will ever be enough. He will be seen as disingenuous and merely trying to save face. Frankly, that's how all celebrity apologies are, and I'm continually amused by the public shaming and subsequent phony public apologies by celebrities. However, all things considered, I think Logan Paul did a better job with this video than many expected or are willing to acknowledge.
