This is the fortiieff entry of my Long Play series third part, hence the #3. Today we are playing "Death Stranding" on the PC though Steam with DLSS on. maybe it will look better? and aside from actual gameplay that is boring and painful, its cool. im here for the cinematics, and the dreamlike story only Kojima can give birth to.
The idea of a long play is, to capture the raw game play experience, with little to no added commentary, effects, jokes, memes, jump cuts, edits or otherwise molest the original game play recording. i believe a long play should not be a review, tutorial, or anything else to effect the experience of the actual game play (that would be the purpose of my "Let's Try Out" or a "let's play" video series). i think mostly this sort of video formula is employed when playing single player only games where story and experience is largely structured, linear, non open world, and non-emergent gameplay.
