[Longplay] Arena Maze of Death for Game Gear : levels 1-4 /20 ( hard mode)
24Arena Maze of Death is a game I've always enjoyed : read about it on a magazine in the 90s , bought it a year later, finished it on easy, then on normal and hard. The reason I'm making this longplay is actually because I wanted to watch one to bring back memories, but couldn't find any.
Arena Maze of Death can be compared to the movie Running Man : a near futur, a corrupt society, and brutal combats. Your mission as Guy Freelander is to reach the installation of Astralnet, the only authorized tv channel, and broadcast a tape showing the nasty things about the governement leaders. Before that, there will be a lot of running and gunning.
Actually and especially in hard, there's more running than gunning if you want to survive : sometimes it's better to avoid being shot than tickling those armored guys and their tanks. And even if you have to fight, each situation should be approached with the proper gun

00:00 - 04:06 : The first level. Basic training, no need to shoot or almost
04:06 - 11:01 : Level 2
11:01 - 17:18 : Level 3 : meet your best friends in the game , the grenades. Stack them, spare them , love them : a well-aimed grenade can clear a very annoying obstacle almost instantly.
17:18 - 22:04 : Level 4: meet your worst ennemy, the grenadier. In hard difficulty, this guy will kill you in one hit, unless you have full armor and health. Not a guy you want to mess with, or only if you carry some ammo for the ion cannon.
