This is the longplay of Metroid Fusion, action, adventure and platform game for Game Boy Advance, developed by Nintendo R&D1, distributed by Nintendo and released in 2002 in the United States and Europe and in 2003 in Japan. Metroid Fusion is the fourth game in the Metroid series and a sequel to Super Metroid (released for the SNES in 1994).

The story of Metroid Fusion begins 10 years after the events of Super Metroid. Samus Aran, the series' protagonist, is escorting a group of biological research scientists on the planet SR388, homeworld of the extinct Metroids. The reason for the expedition was that, with the extinction of the Metroids on the planet, there was an environmental imbalance. The Galactic Federation couldn't let the worst happen, so they created a space station called the B.S.L. (Biologic Space Labs) to closely monitor the development of the planet's species. After destroying a hostile creature, Samus comes across a life form she didn't know about. She tries to destroy it but ends up being attacked. She later discovers that such a creature was a parasite known as "X", which took over the planet SR388 after the extinction of the Metroids, who were her natural enemies. Samus ended up being infected by the X parasite and the harmful organisms multiplied very quickly in the body and even in the armor of our heroine. The X parasite multiplies very quickly, leaving Samus with little chance of survival and forcing the doctors to surgically remove parts of Samus' armor. However, scientists have developed a vaccine with Metroid DNA, extracted from the preserved cells of a Metroid brought by Samus. Upon receiving the vaccine, the girl soon regains her senses and the X parasites are completely eliminated from her body, in addition to having her armor completely modified. Upon regaining consciousness, Samus is informed of an as-yet-unexplained explosion at the station (B.S.L.). She is sent there to investigate the event. During the mission, she will have the help of her new ship's computer. This computer she named Adam (a tribute to Samus' former commander) and has the mission of helping Samus on her journey, explaining the map and the game's plot. During the investigations, Samus discovers a creature with her appearance. Computer Adam decides to name it SA-X. This being emerged from the biomechanical parts of Samus' Power Suit. The "parasite-viruses" native to SR388 that attacked and infected Samus and her Power Suit, are a special kind of creatures with high mutating abilities that can perfectly reproduce the abilities and form of their hosts. In this way, an exact replica of Samus is created at full power, while the real Samus lost most of her powers during the surgery. In view of this, Samus will need to explore the place, while collecting power-ups and fighting the creatures infected by the X parasites. In addition to being careful with the enormous power of SA-X, which will pursue our hero during various parts of the game.

Metroid Fusion has the classic 2D gameplay of the series and in this game an excellent job was done in every aspect, with the A and B buttons you jump and shoot, with R pressed you have access to missiles and power bombs and with L you can aim on the diagonals. The gameplay was spectacular and very intuitive. Unlike Super Metroid, which adopted a very dark tone, Metroid Fusion has a more colorful look. The movement of enemies, and especially Samus, is very impressive. Instead of simply inverting the sprites, the developers drew each image twice, making Samus' cannon always be on her right arm. The Metroid DNA vaccine made Samus immune to the X parasites and also gave her the ability to absorb them in the form of life and weapon ammo, in addition to collecting special powers by absorbing the parasites from defeated bosses. The soundtrack is very good and the sound effects of each weapon are unique.

Without a doubt, Metroid Fusion is a wonderful game from the GBA. The video was made by collecting 100% of the items and upgrades and making the best ending (finishing the game in less than 2 hours with all items). The video is over 3 hours long due, obviously, to the dialogues. Secret dialogue is also present in the video.
Hope you like it.
