This is a longplay of game Kouryuu no Mimi, literally "Ear of the Golden Dragon", from Super Famicom. Kouryuu no Mimi is a obscure beat-'em-up video game originally released by VAP exclusively in Japan in 1995.
The game is based on the anime (OVA, with 2 episodes with 27 minutes each) and manga of the same title and this is the history of Natsume Kiroemon, the 45th leader of the Natsume family, is due to inherit the Koryu no Mimi, a tool (earring) which gives its bearer easy access to wealth and women. As a result of his father's death, Kiro is a orphan left in Italian monastery after death of father and mother where he'd been training and rightfully took the name "Natsume Kiroemon" as well as the power of the Kouryuu no Mimi.
Upon his return to Japan, he met Kanako, a girl who fell in love with him. However, she is one of the members of the Mina Clan, an all-female clan whose leader wants to destroy Kiroemon and get hold of the powerful ring.
However, the evil hand of the Mina clan attacked Kiroemon and later kidnapped Kanako. Now Kiroemon has unlocked the power of the Golden Dragon Ring, making his own energy spike! In addition to saving Kanako from being killed by the Mina Clan, Kiro must use her powers wisely to prevent them from controlling him.
This game is a beat 'n up for a single player, where we control Kiro and we need to attack enemies with punches, kicks and weapons (both physical and firearms), in addition to using the powers of the golden earring to cast magic and recover life. It's a relatively simple but slightly challenging game with a good soundtrack that complements the manga/OVA story.
