This is the longplay of the game Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, an action and platform game developed and published by NAMCO and released in 1997 for the Playstation. Klonoa was launched by Namco with the intention of being its newest mascot, which would appear alongside Pac-Man - and Klonoa even has a cap with a Pac-Man print.
The game's story begins when Klonoa begins to remember a dream: one day while walking through the forest, our friend finds a buried ring. Curious, he pulls the ring from the place and ends up releasing a spirit called Huepow, who becomes his inseparable friend, starting to accompany him everywhere. However, moments later, the spaceship of the terrible Ghadius lands in Wind Village (land where Klonoa lives) to try to end all dreams, turning them into nightmares. Ghadius and his ever faithful servant Joka, kidnap the diva Lephise in an attempt to steal the moon necklace and prevent the diva from restoring the world.
In the game we control Klonoa, a species of anthropomorphic cat, who will wear the ring on his journey. With the ring, our hero can destroy bubbles, grab enemies and throw them at each other, besides being able to throw these enemies to the sides and even to the front and back of the screen, which is necessary to beat bosses and solve some puzzle. The game works on the platform scheme known as 2.5D, where you only move left and right (as in a 2D game), but the scenario is all built in three dimensions, with different depths between levels. The soundtrack, with songs composed on the piano, is excellent and has several striking songs and the story is very well developed.
It is one of the best Playstation games without a doubt, a very beautiful game and well done in every detail. This video is 100%, collecting all the secrets and including an extra stage after the end.
