This is the longplay of the game Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, also known as Super Donkey Kong 2 in Japan. It is the second game in the Donkey Kong Country series. It was released on 21 November 1995 in Japan, and in December 1995 in North America and Europe.

The game's plot takes place after the first game. After defeating King K. Rool, our heroes, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong return to the DK Islands with Donkey's banana reserve. Peace reigned for a long time. Donkey Kong was relaxing, when an aircraft called Flying Krock approaches the island. The evil K. Rool (now as Captain K. Rool) sends the Kremlings to the island and kidnaps Donkey Kong. He will only release him if the Kong family hands over Donkey Kong's banana reserve to him.

Then, Diddy and his girlfriend Dixie, find a note stating Captain K. Rool's kidnapping of Donkey Kong on the deck of a pirate ship, the two depart together for Crocodile Isle (the home of the Kremlings) to rescue him, but to that Diddy and Dixie must cross a number of places on the island, including Gangplank Galleon, Crocodile Caudron, Krazy Kremland and many others.

During the journey, Diddy and Dixie are helped by a variety of animals, some of which appeared in their previous game and others are new. Playable animals include Squitter (the spider), Glimmer (the monkfish), Rambi (the rhino), Rattly (the rattlesnake), Clapper (the seal), Enguarde (the swordfish) and Squawks (the parrot). These animals have unique abilities that the player can use, such as the new ability of Rambi and Enguarde to carry attacks against enemies, Squawks' ability to fly, and Rattly's ability to jump at extreme heights. All of these animals are essential to our heroes.

When british producer Rare launched Donkey Kong Country in 1994, no one could believe what Super Nintendo was capable. Incredible graphics with detailed and fluid animations were part of the booty of this title, now considered a timeless classic. With the sequel, released at the end of the following year, Rare did what seemed impossible. Whoever said that the second games are always inferior was sadly mistaken. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest proves to be a game superior to its predecessor. The soundtrack is awesome.
Diddy's Kong Quest received critical acclaim, being widely regarded as one of the best 2D platform games ever made. The accolades were directed to its graphics, gameplay and soundtrack. It was the second best-selling game of 1995, the sixth best-selling game on the SNES. It's my favorite game from the Donkey Kong Country trilogy.

The video was recorded obtaining all letters K-O-N-G, all bonus rooms, all Kremcoins, all DK coins and the best ending, totaling 102%.
I hope you enjoy the video
