This is the longplay of Arkanoid: Doh it Again, puzzle/block breaker game for Super Nintendo, released by Taito Corporation in 1997 in Japan, and by Nintendo in Australia, the US, and the UK. It was developed as a sequel to the original 1986 arcade release of Arkanoid.

In this game, the player controls a ship that moves only sideways and needs to hit a metallic ball to destroy colored blocks, enemies and bosses without letting it fall to the ground. The levels are completed when all the silver and colored blocks are destroyed.

This version takes place five years after the Arcade version and involves fighting a villain named Doh. For years Commander Therle and some survivors roam the space in search of a new world, as the old one was destroyed by Doh, whenever they get close to a planet, Doh takes them out of the way. Therefore, our heroes must fight to defeat the enemy, who has placed several blocks to disrupt the path of the crew and you must destroy everyone to find the villain. The player also has items in the form of capsules, which will assist the ship, from capsules that increase the size of the ship, to others that let you shoot laser, multiply the balls, create a protective electrical barrier or stick the ball in the ship and then release it, but caution is needed when catching them so as not to drop the ball or to catch an S capsule (which is the negative capsule and harms the ship). The game also has warps, in case the player wants to finish a level and advance to the next one without destroying all the blocks.

You can use the normal controller or the SNES Mouse to play this game. Arkanoid: Doh it Again was one of the last games released for SNES, and therefore with enough resources, on the other hand did not have time to become a well-known game, as it was released in 1997 and the Nintendo 64 and Playstation already existed, leaving Arkanoid kind of obsolete, this does not detract from the quality of the game, but its framing in the history of games was weak. Certainly if this game had been released earlier it would be much better known. It's a good puzzle game, yes. And the game has several endings and to see the best ending it is necessary to go through all the stages and also see the sad endings to have access to the happy ending.

I hope you enjoy the video.
