Project Zomboid is probably the most realistic Survival Game that I've ever had the pleasure to play. Its an absolute classic when It comes to the Post Apocalyptic, Survival, Crafting, & Zombie Genres. By Classic I mean its up there as one of the games that helped to set the standards for its genres. It was developed and released in (I Believe) 2013.
It takes place in modern day in which the world was not destroyed but overrun with zombies. Unlike most Post Apocalyptic games the world for the most part is still intact. At least when it comes to the buildings & houses anyway.
You have your choice of game mode like Apocalypse - which is the hardest setting when it comes to trying to stay alive. This game mode will test your sneaking abilities & test your survival skills the most.
Then you also have the Survivor Mode which means your survivability length is drastically increased but still hard to survive. The point of the game is definitely different than other survival games I have played since the point is that YOU DIE! It even states so every time you start a game by saying This is your Story.....This is how You Die! Extremely addictive, a must have for the Survival & Zombie game lover.
