Set in the Canadian wilderness in that hazy period between Christmas and New Years Eve, D2 starts as your plane crashes in the snow and you recover after being saved from the wreckage, only to find the whole area is being overrun with mutant creatures taking humans as hosts. D2 really pushed the Sega Dreamcast with some intense shooting action, gory cutscenes and exploration.
