Played this game shortly after it came out (for about a month), wasn't free then. Only played with a buddy and when he had time, so was just a couple of hours a day. This was maybe 7 years ago or something.
I'm not a Lord of the Rings fan, only tried it out as he and I wanted to try something new.
My old account is gone so made a new one. I always play as a healer class (if possible), so I'll be playing as the Minstrel and most points in the left healing tree.
As I'm only level 21, I'm still a noob and don't understand much yet. Loads of explanations in the game to help new players out, but I don't read them, I just want action. So, I also skip all cutscene/cinematic stuff, same in ALL games. For example, I played WoW for over 8 years, I still haven't seen the intro and the rest :P Whatever I can skip, I skip. Don't give a shit about those or lore.
Made 2 specs, a DPS (middle tree) and a healer. Playing DPS while questing solo. There are maybe better DPS skills to use at my level and better rotation, but felt like the one I'm using works good enough - key 1 and 2 till I have 3 thingies, then finish with key 3... whatever those skills are called. I use the other ones as well to buff the damage and other stuff when I feel like it.
Only got back to this game again (well, just trying it out a bit, might not play it for more than a week) as I'm waiting for the next D3 patch (maybe 1.5 months away, donno), the new Ultima Online game (like over a year left LOL), and another one I forgot the title of.
Considering how long this game has been out, it has nasty bugs, bad animation (especially the running while moving the mouse, the legs acts weird), the art, like loading screens, maps, some buttons etc hasn't been updated for widescreen so it's stretched out and blurry. Only widescreen 1080p stuff is the 3D. There are several expansions, so maybe getting those improves these things.
