Low level battle versus The Undying
11A very low level combat solution to the battle against Haseo's sealed beast, The Undying. I needed some save space on my one and only memory card for a possible Redemption speed run project and made this out of one of the saves I'm throwing out.
Anyway, everything about equipment and levels is in the video right at the beginning, though you'll notice I forgot to get rid of Atoli's Damage Change and had to quickly replace it as a precaution (surprise! That wasn't necessary since Gaspard ate all of the damage).
Now, yes, this video is absurdly short; it's not so much a show of skill as it is preperation. Morale Boost and Godly Potions were used to build the gauge (I could've done it with Healing Storm, but I built a 100 Godly Potion supply in Reminisce that I never used... may as well have it do something!), then I took Atoli and Gaspard off Tenacity (Operation: Suicide!), put them in Rage, changed out to Berserk Fortunes+5 and let The Undying eat Beast Awakening, taking care that my initial Skill Trigger wasn't used until after my mages began their first strikes. The entire reason for Atoli and Gaspard being there was to make use of their critical healing Favorites, and Gaspard made good on that.
(actually, Gaspard did even better than I thought upon reviewing the tape; his Eruption Counter activated and took 800 HP off The Undying! I didn't think that was possible, but apparently counters can activate against any blow, even lethal ones, at any level; The Undying only took one tenth of the damage he dealt though, which sucks, but oh well... I learned something new today at least! The video response shows you the fruit of that knowledge)
This is basically just going to be the video I respond with to anyone asking for Sealed Beast strategies since Healing Storm is easy to get and you can buy three Skill Candles for less than a Fate Worm's worth. I know it's not that entertaining, but if you didn't know the worth of a Skill Candle before, even after the solo Doppelganger video... you do now! :D
