As I didn't mention it in the LP, the prison here is actually meant as a reference to FF5. You see, they had several prisoners at a castle in that game, one of whom if you released would proceed to turn several of the chests "Empty" in the future if you let him go! Also, Lone Wolf showed up in FF5 as well...Of course, it's not like the American audience would discover this until much later in time...

But regardless, we encounter one of the most iconical antagonists of any RPG...Hell, maybe one of the most iconical antagonists ever! And also, we find that not a single "girl" escapes Edgar's interest..
