Greetings people of the Internet,
LUCHA MAN here to give my first impressions of Rick and Morty season two! After two episodes in, I am happy to report that the style and humor of the series has successfully survived from season one. One thing I like is how it picked up right where it left off from the end of season one, and didn't try to do a reboot or some other episode with little to no explanation of or tie in to the previous season.
All the characters are back and just as good as when we left them. Rick , Morty, and all the others are still acting like themselves and it s great. I wonder if this season will have them air out of production order like they did last season? I also like how we had the comic and the Simpsons Couch gag to hold us over before this came back.
While I was waiting for and found out about season 2, I found some test footage they showed at a Comic Con, and I think it's awesome how it was from the 2nd episode of the 2nd season. They made us wait, and they rewarded us for watching the series.
As this is a first impression and I don't want to repeat the mistake I made from the first time I reviewed a season, I will leave some wiggle room, just in case this season has an episode I don't like, I currently give Rick and Morty Season two a 9.5 out of 10.
