Derek Jenkins the VP of design recently gave an interview live on instagram, during the interview he noted 'currently, we are still saying the second half of the year for delivery'.
Some people have speculated that Lucid could be delivering the Lucid Air early, which would be great and would help regain investor confidence. However, its also important to think of the impact if they don't deliver in the second half and it falls into 2022.
This would have a massive impact on the stock, knocking investors confidence even further. Lucid would almost certainly be compared to Nikola in that instance.
A few other key points were bought up during the interview such as the Lucid showroom VR experience, level 5 autonomy being 5-10 years out and how Lucid Motors and Apple have an interesting 'analogy' between them.
Palantir's demo day was to give real world use cases for the palantir PLTR software and how these softwares can be used in all different industries for a variety of tasks.
Cathie Wood then purchased an additional 1m shares in PLTR after this news in her Ark Invest Ark K portfolio.
