On Ortex we've seen the shares on loan going up substantially, up to 138m shares on loan with 90m shares short. This has since decreased after a substantial return on Wednesday (reported on Friday) with around 14m shares returned.
Us Apes currently control around 75% of the AMC stock, which is great to pressurise the shorts and to squeeze the AMC stock to new highs.
But how can you tell where the top of the AMC short squeeze will be? Fundamental analysis and Technical analysis can't really be applied to the AMC stock, as its trading solely on Social Arbitrage, therefore, social signals need to be used, such as shares on loan, trade volume and even number of tweets per hour.
As the hype around AMC falls, the short squeeze will die, therefore volume is a very important indicator.
