The lucid motors merger is confirmed for the 23rd July 2021, later than the originally planned 30th June, but it could be much worse. Lucid will get the substantial cash inflow from CCIV on this date and therefore will likely start production & delivery of the Lucid Air in August.

But what happens on the 23rd? do i need to sell my shares? apply for them to be changed? will i loose the shares? Whichever stock-broker you use will automatically convert your CCIV shares to LCID shares in a 1:1 ratio.

The SEC filing does mention a 1:2.6 ratio, but that solely applies to current Lucid Motors shareholdings, converting into CCIV shares and then back into LCID shares.

But what about a short squeeze? could it happen? possibly, the short interest in CCIV is primed, but a short squeeze requires a primed chart and also a catalyst for a squeeze.
