🏢 Government Power | President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (Workers' Party) signed a provisional measure (MP) this Monday (July 14, 2025) that eliminates the annual taximeter verification fee.

The tax exemption measure, proposed by the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services through Inmetro (National Institute of Metrology, Quality, and Technology), is expected to save approximately R$9 million per year for the more than 100,000 taxi drivers who benefit.
