Where: Above the Scalding Chasm in the Abyssal Depths (44.36, 36.10), near a submarine.
Note: No breadcrumbs or quests are available. Two NPCs here, Max Megablast and Bo Bobble, offer rewards.
What: Collect glowing sea creatures and bring them to the submarine's light for study. Earn Luminescent Research Notes periodically.
How:
Interact with a Damaged Diving Helmet at the submarine.
Find and lure a glowing blue fish (not the purple ones) back to the submarine. Look at 54:36 or Underlight Canyon.
Stand in the light with your headlamp ON to earn research notes.
Fish lasts for about 50-100 notes or 10 minutes. Only one fish is needed at a time.
Beware: A Whale Shark arrives every 2-3 minutes from L'Ghorek. Turn OFF your headlamp to avoid being killed. Turn it back ON once the Whale Shark leaves.

Submersible Propulsion Device - 200 x Luminescent Research Notes
Jelly Jam - 100 x Luminescent Research Notes
