Steps:

- Start by clicking the ‘Apple logo’ in the top left corner.

- Choose ‘system preferences’ from the menu that appears.

- In system preferences choose ‘users & groups’.

- With your user account selected, click ‘login items’ in the top right.

- If there are programs that are set to auto-launch on startup they will be listed here.

- To choose the programs that you would like to auto-launch tap the plus icon.

- Click on the program that you would like to auto-launch and click ‘add’.

- That program will now auto-launch when you turn on your mac.

- You can add multiple programs to auto-launch here.

- To stop a program from auto-launching select it from the list and then tap the minus icon.

- If you would like a program to launch on startup but not be visible you can check the checkbox below ‘hide’.
