Steps:

- Start by clicking the ‘Apple logo’ in the top left corner.

- Choose ‘system preferences’ from the menu that appears.

- In system preferences choose ‘accessibility’.

- In the accessibility settings click ‘voiceover’ from the left sidebar menu.

- You can click ‘enable voiceover’ to enable voiceover.

- In the popup click ‘use voiceover’ to turn voiceover on, or click ‘turn off voiceover’ to disable it.

- Here in the voiceover section, you can click ‘open voiceover training’ to have a tutorial on how to use the voiceover guide.

- Click ‘continue’ to go through the guide.

- If you click ‘open voiceover utility’ you can customize lots of the voiceover settings, such as the braille and speech settings.

- So again to turn on the voiceover check the ‘enable voiceover’ checkbox and then click ‘use voiceover’ on the popup that appears.

- Voiceover will be switched on.

- To turn voiceover off, uncheck the ‘enable voiceover’ checkbox and it will switch off.
