Mad Crasher Arcade
24Mad Crasher combines elements of the racing and shoot 'em up genres, and requires its players to drive a futuristic motorcycle along a suspended track while rival vehicles do their best to intrude.
As an aid, the player's motorcycle is equipped with two additional abilities besides directional control: jumping and shooting laser beams.
While it can be used to evade other vehicles as a last resort to avoid a collision, jumping is primarily reserved for the track's numerous gaps and ramps, while laser beams allow the player to shoot down enemy vehicles for extra points.
Scattered throughout the track are power-ups that give the player a speed boost of questionable utility, since there is no real benefit to advancing faster.
Like many video games of its era, Mad Crasher is a high-scoring chase with any explicit endgame.
The player will "Game Over" once all of their lives are depleted, which can happen by crashing into other vehicles or driving away from the often treacherous track.
