All the enemies in this stage die in one hit to Flame Mixer or Tengu Blade so that's pretty much all you'll be using. The aim in this stage is to get through the whole thing without taking knockback. You'll have to be careful of how you get around the Air Tikis, but with some practice, it's not that bad. Especially with Blast Wind and Tengu Blade. Otherwise, you'd have to employ Fast Air strats and stand on the edges of the Air Tikis. With a bit of practice and some luck in hoping Flame Mixer does its job and doesn't let any of the Hirarian 427s through the shield.

Blizzard Man is a bit of an odd fight. Luck-based. He takes 4/4/6 from the slash, projectile, and dash respectively. So you want to be hitting him with the dash at all times. But when he does the rolling attack, the slash pierces his invincibility. So what you want to do is slash him if he does the rolling attack and spam dash otherwise. Although with optimal RNG, you don't want him rolling in the first place.

This run beats the previous normal record, megabanana's 1:42. For improvements, I think the Blizzard Man fight could be better. Even if he does the rolling attack, you should try to get a slash in when he rolls at you and then another slash when he rebounds. You might even be able to get more slashes if you catch him earlier in the roll. Maybe.
