376Paradox is the single largest threat to any Enlightened who wishes to use their magic as they wish; Reality itself will reject your view of it, and if your transgression is bad enough, it might even decide to remove you from the equation completely.
In Mage: the Ascension, no faction is free from the dangers of using Vulgar magic, although the Technocrats have a significant advantage because they often disguise their reality-altering methods as cutting edge science and technology.
