Magic Johnson FIRES BACK at Steph Curry GOAT Point Guard Claim | the Latest on Jrue Holiday Suitors

Curry has a very impressive resume that includes four world championships, two regular season and finals MVPs and two scoring titles, but many feel Johnson had a greater career than him.\n\nKareem Abdul-Jabbar, Johnson’s teammate on those legendary Los Angeles Lakers teams of the 1980s, added some food for thought when he said neither Curry nor Johnson but Oscar Robertson is the greatest point guard ever.\n\nJohnson himself was asked about Curry’s opinion on the debate, and Johnson said, respectfully and with tact, that Curry isn’t the greatest to play the position (h/t Lakers Daily).\n\nAs the Damian Lillard trade saga ends, another one begins with Jrue Holiday. The Portland Trail Blazers acquired him on Wednesday as the centerpiece in their return for Lillard and are expected to reroute him to another team.\n\nHoliday is coming off one of his best seasons as a pro on both ends of the court. He was named an All-Star for the second time in his career and had a strong case for making an All-NBA Team. The five-time All-Defensive guard is arguably one of the best, if not the best, defensive point guards in the league. His ability to guard the best small guards in the league, get across any screen, and guard bigger players makes him such a desirable player.\n\nMost importantly, Holiday’s skillset is proven to be more than playoff viable, something that is hard to come by with guards. All those components of his game came together when he helped lead the Bucks to win the 2020-21 championship. All that, combined with his reasonable $36.9 million salary, should make him an automatic target for most playoff contenders.\n\n#nba \n#nbalive\n#bostonceltics \n#boston \n#brooklynnets \n#brooklyn \n#newyorkknicks \n#newyork \n#philadelphia76ers \n#philadelphia \n#torontoraptors \n#toronto \n#chicagobulls \n#chicago \n#clevelandcavaliers \n#cleveland \n#detroitpistons \n#detroit \n#indianapacers \n#indian \n#indiana \n#milwaukeebucks \n#milwaukee \n#denvernuggets \n#minnesotatimberwolves \n#minnesota \n#oklahomacitythunder \n#oklahomacity \n#portlandtrailblazers \n#portland \n#utahjazz \n#utah \n#goldenstatewarriors \n#goldenstate \n#bostonceltics \n#losangelesclippers \n#losangeleslakers \n#losangeles \n#phoenixsuns \n#phoenix \n#sacramentokings \n#sacramento \n#atlantahawks \n#atlanta \n#charlottehornets \n#charlotte \n#miamiheat \n#miami \n#orlandomagic \n#orlando \n#washingtonwizards \n#washington \n#dallasmavericks \n#dallas \n#orlandomagic \n#orlando \n#houstonrockets \n#houston \n#memphisgrizzlies \n#memphis \n#neworleanspelicans \n#neworleans \n#sanantoniospurs \n#sanantonio \n#slovenia \n#serbia \n#pbafinals \n#gilaspilipinas \n#sanmiguel \n#ginebra \n#argentina \n#pilipinas \n#philippines \n#usa \n#canada \n#china \n#russia \n#ukraine \n#brazil \n#gilaspilipinas\n\nShowTyme Social Media:\nTwitter: https://twitter.com/ShowTymeMedia\nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/showtymeonpoint/\nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100076270525012\nDISCLAIMER - All clips property of the NBA.
