Hello all and welcome to Magic Legends played on G4G. So, there has been some hype about this game from people who know but also this game has definitely flown under the radar of even MTG fans. I'd been waiting for this one ever since it was announced. Was I disappointed or pleased?

Spoiler-I was.......ok with it. It's a Diablo style ARPG so that makes it fun in my book. It plays faster than Grim Dawn but maybe slower than Diablo games and POE. The action is mostly dictated from your spells that act as abilities and 2 basic class abilities. As a necro, I raise skeletons and can consume them for a buffed AOE centered on me. Reviews for the game are not kind but I disagree with some of it. I feel it isn't just a brain dead button masher like some reviews say but I also feel the world gets a bit empty at times. I don't have a robust deck yet but I can still see combos with even my small loadout. Will it appeal to MTG fans? Sure, I think so. Will it win over ARPG fans? Likely a 50% chance at best it will as other, more established franchises will likely keep those fans hooked and Legends will fail to sway them.
