Hasbro's Magic: The Gathering, Wacom and Apex Legend have all been recently caught using AI artwork in their advertisements and/or official artwork. While practically free to use instead of having to pay an artist, is this the smartest move, considering that a class action lawsuit is being brought against Midjourney by artists who they stole from? Can companies that use AI artwork eventually face lawsuits as well?
