He said this game was extremely difficult, since there are too many stages, too many enemies on screen and survive those narrow background passages is A LOT frustrating (enemies can freely touch background elements without being killer, that's simply unfair :D).
Maximum lives you can have is 5 and each time you complete a level your smart bomb equipment will increase (to a maximum of 9 smart bombs).
If you're wondering how you'll be rewarded completing the game..well..err...
