Mail Order Monsters is a game far ahead of its time. Originally intended to be a little more mature, EA (then ECA) wanted the game to be a little more light-hearted and accessible. In Mail Order Monsters you create your own monster with adaptations and weapons ranging from natural to futuristic and use them to do battle. The game takes place on various maps and terrain, which can be used to great advantage by certain monster types. Mail Order Monsters has multiple modes including: Single player vs AI, or local multiplayer with horde mode where both players compete for a high score against an AI controlled horde, or Capture the Flag. Create your monster, do battle, acquire upgrades, bring death, and take home the trophy. It's a simple but perfect concept.

As far as I can tell, the game is abandonware and can easily be gotten and used with emulator software. The graphics aren't awesome by today's standards, but the game still holds up today. It makes for a fun Sunday afternoon of wholesome destruction.
