The pixel graphics of this series are top notch for the era. You had many options for spells and skills, and the world is just full of creativity and life for such early titles. The Might and Magic series took First Person RPGs to new heights from the likes of Bard's Tale and Wizardry series.
One of the cooler features of this game is when install 4 and 5 (Darkside of Xeen) at the same time, the games merge to become World of Xeen, which activates pyramid teleporters and opens up crossover quests in both games. As far as I know, being able to play two games simultaneously had never been done before. It certainly was a creative idea (and a great way to sell more copies!). For those who played Might and Magic, the memories will last forever. For those who would like to explore it as a retro gamer, or as someone who missed them the first time around, you can still buy the series on GOG.com
