In this video i teach you exactly what you need and how to create your very own custom and brand new floppy cables using IDC Connectors, crimping pliers and ribbon cable. Can be used on everything from classical dos on IBM Combatible computers to Commodore or Amiga and real vintage systems or mainframes, everywhere where you see a ribbon cable, this might come handy.

IDC is short for Insulation displacement Connector and has been used for floppydrives since 1971, but also for other components such as MFM and IDE harddrives, motherboard interconnects and a lot of other similair application.
