In this video, we are making a Viking sword from 80crv2 high carbon steel. This steel is very similar to 5160 spring steel. An angle grinder was the main tool used to cut out and grind the blade. The sword was cut out, and the fuller and edges were ground. Then the sword was hardened with a propane forge and differential tempered with a torch. A sander was used to clean up the bevels and fuller.
