Introduction:
---------------------

Welcome to my first video in a series that I am hoping to work on, where I will try and explain the basics for people who are new to modding the game "Fable: The Lost Chapters" and help them learn the things they need to get started. This will include guides on how to install certain software, such as the tools used for editing the games data files. Along with explanations on how to avoid certain mistakes or crashes.

In this video, I will be demonstrating how to make a backup of your Game Data. This can be done simply by copying the game files that can be found in its directory and pasting it somewhere else on your computer.

If you have any questions about the video, feel free to let me know!

Instructions:
---------------------

Step 1) Find where your game's file directory is located on your computer's Hard Drive. In other words, find where exactly the game was installed. This will depend on which version of the game that you are using.

CD Version:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games

Steam Version:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common

Step 2) Copy the entire "Fable The Lost Chapters" folder and paste it somewhere else on your computer or Hard Drive. This can be done by right clicking the folder, pressing copy, finding another folder like your desktop and then pasting it so that it creates another version of that folder on your hard drive.

Congratulations, you have learned how to back up your game data!

Notes:
-----------

1) Sorry about the low audio levelling, it was a very early video of mine and mainly used to headphones when listening to them. I learned a lot from this experience.

2) You CAN just copy the data folder that is found inside of your game files, however, there are some mods that are known to change your .ini files which are located outside of the data folder. In my opinion, it is best to copy the entire game folder just to be sure!

3) Don't forget that you can also use this technique to backup your save files and even modded versions of your game files!
