This series is for data packs but can be easily converted for forge mods I will explain how this works in part 3.

This video will hopefully teach you how the jigsaw blocks work. How to use structure blocks and structure voids. And how to set custom Loot Tables to Minecraft Chests.

I also showed some custom villages so you can see how they would generate using custom structures like this. The villages are new villages that add to the game not edit existing files however you can expand existing villages if you change the files in villages to use custom structures you have made but keep in mind this would not be cross-compatible with other data packs or mods.
