Making lithium hydroxide
8,900In this video, we will be making lithium hydroxide by reacting lithium metal with water!
Lithium hydroxide is a precursor to lithium drugs. I plan to use the lithium hydroxide to make a drug that's used to treat bipolar disorder, and to make lithium peroxide, which is a CO2 absorber (reacts with CO2 and produces O2)
