MAKING MY WAY DOWNTOWN | The Last Of Us Remastered Playthrough - Part 8
5Hey everybody! Welcome back to my The Last Of Us Remastered playthrough, Ellie and Joel find themselves in the forest now and keep pushing our way to Bill. The wildlife here is beautiful to look at and it is interesting that none of it seems to be affected by the spores. I find a locked off area that we need to get through and inside I find a bunch of great supplies. On the other side we find what looks like a little town. Mostly clear in the area right before it thankfully but still two clickers that I manage to take care of pretty easily. After combing the area I start making my way downtown where I find more supplies but unfortunately for me I am looking around too much because I can no longer pick up half the stuff I find. At the end of the road we find a wall that Joel comments on thinking we are getting closer to Bill and when we try to go through an alley way to get around it we find a trip wire and a clicker walks by to she us what happens when you go through. I hear banging on a door so naturally I go and check it out. A runner thought he could take me by surprise but unfortunately for him I have a weapon that kills in one shot. Continuing on we make our way to the roof tops where we find a bow and some arrows. On the roof is another clicker but this time I can test my new bow. Too bad I am a terrible shot! On the ground again Joel opens a door that should bring us into Bill's town but the door was a trap and next thing I know Joel is strung up by the ankles!
The Last of Us is a genre-defining experience blending survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population decimated by a modern plague. 20 years after a pandemic has radically changed known civilization, cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature, infected humans run wild and survivors are killing each other for food, weapons; whatever they can get their hands on. Joel, a violent survivor, is hired to smuggle a 14 year-old girl, Ellie, out of an oppressive military quarantine zone, but what starts as a small job soon transforms into a brutal journey across the U.S.
