WHAT ARE STALKERS!?! | The Last Of Us Remastered Playthrough - Part 7
3Hey everybody! Welcome back to my The Last Of Us Remastered playthrough, on the roof and getting close to our destination I create a plank bridge and we keep on moving. The path is clear thankfully and along the way we learn the Ellie cannot swim. Good to know but a pain if we come across water and I know that I will. Once we arrive our fears come true as we enter to find the Firefly's all dead. Tess is in a panic and both Joel and I don't understand why. It is quickly revealed that she was hoping for a cure more then ever because she was bitten an hour ago. Of course as this dramatic moment is happening the military shows up and Tess volunteers to hold them off. Joel and Ellie reluctantly leave and as we make our way through the buildings we are surrounded by soldiers. I work out my sneaking skills as we move through here but I also quickly have to start brushing up on my shooting as well. We manage to get through and outside only to be cornered in the subway tunnel as soon as we enter. Ellie proves she really is immune as she sits down here breathing in all of the spores and is still fine. Hopefully that helps convince Joel! Deeper into the tunnels there is flooding and of course as we just learned Ellie can't swim. Along the way I find a note on a body who describes something moving in the dark and that it might be a stalker. What are stalkers!?! And why the hell do they exist!?! I have been worried about clickers and runners this whole time and now there are things in the dark hunting me! Luckily we don't come across one down here and we surface on the other side. Joel lays down some ground rules with Ellie and we get ready to move on without Tess.
The Last of Us is a genre-defining experience blending survival and action elements to tell a character driven story about a population decimated by a modern plague. 20 years after a pandemic has radically changed known civilization, cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature, infected humans run wild and survivors are killing each other for food, weapons; whatever they can get their hands on. Joel, a violent survivor, is hired to smuggle a 14 year-old girl, Ellie, out of an oppressive military quarantine zone, but what starts as a small job soon transforms into a brutal journey across the U.S.
