Xenonauts is single-player strategy game for PC that places the player in command of the Xenonauts, a global organisation defending the world against alien invasion.
Mal's Random Musing: An indie title developed is one part spiritual successor to the original XCOM, one part update and one part retro with strategic isometric view based squad combat. The game is unforgiving, even on 'normal'; combat is deliberate and focused. The interface takes a few minutes to get used to if you are accustomed to the modern version of XCOM, though it does not take long for a comfort level to set in. The game does a fair job of providing the lore behind the alien invasion and does a solid job of providing tool tips to help guide you. For a indie game developed on a rather tight budget, this is a quality title and I am enjoying my first few hours with it.

I am an old geek who has been playing games my entire life. I have a keen interest in RPG, Strategy & Tactical games.
