Man Down! Man Down! | Project Hospital - Part 14 (Hospital Simulator Game)
Project Hospital continues and we have to deal with our very first collapsed patient! The poor chap in question has an injured foot and it all proves too much for him as he collapses in orthopaedics. Fortunately our wonderful staff are on it and someone is able to give him some first aid very quickly indeed! However, he does then need an operation... does he pull through...?
Away from emergencies, we finally get round to appointing a night shift! This allows us to remain open twenty-four seven which could help out a bit with both our reputation and our income. We do have the issue of exactly what jobs we need to cover the night shift and it ends up that we keep hiring more and more people.
To help out in orthopaedics we have to hire another Doctor, because our existing one is completely swamped with patients. This new hire, plus all the other ones on the night shift, does mean we have to spin the wheel of names lots of times!
We find ourselves the welcome recipient of a big pile of Government cash but this does give us a dilemma; do we build a new hospital department or do we buy ourselves an ambulance? It's a tricky one...
