Man, people STILL do not realize the power of capping Snowfall Graveyard! | AV # 305
5Defense wins matches in Alterac Valley, this is why we defend and backcap their initial push. Sometimes, the ALLY also try this same tactic and backcap everything in our initial push too. This causes a TURTLE by default already. In a turtle, you ALWAYS want to cap Snowfall Graveyard, ESPECIALLY for the horde! This makes it so that if you die anywhere near mid field, you will respawn at Snowfall Graveyard. This will put your West of Balinda, so you can push up to Stonehearth Graveyard from there instead of running into the bottleneck as the ALLY come back to defend Stonehearth Bunker! You can easily sneak a small team back to Stonehearth Graveyard to cap it, once its tapped, then you can proceed to start wiping them and they have a LONG run back from Stormpike Graveyard.
I'd say that Snowfall Graveyard is probably the most powerful Graveyard to have for the horde in the beginning of a turtle match period. Some people still don't realize the tremendous power you get by having Snowfall and not letting the ALLY have it. By having Snowfall Graveyard, you can put your entire team on OFFENSE, instead of trying to split and have a defense that is just backcapping nodes. You also don't have to worry about them making small teams to kill Captain Galvangar, then stack Iceblood Tower, then Tower Point. By letting the ALLY have Snowfall, you potentially are giving them 300 points from Galv and the Two Towers they can burn there.
Obviously in a turtle match, 300 points could be the win or loss of the entire match! So holding Snowfall and forcing them all to be north of you, gives you the advantage of knowing where their entire team is and where to position yourselves to take them out and keep pushing forward. It ALSO gives you an easy opportunity to summon the Ice Lord, Lokholar if necessary too! The sooner everyone jumps on the MESO bandwagon that SNOWFALL IS GOOD, the better the Alterac Valley matches will be FOR THE HORDE!
