Why go to the end of the Dock without jumping into the water though? | IOC # 264
We definitely sent enough up to the Hangar in the beginning of this match to not only secure it, but hold it the rest of the match. The Workshop cap was also good for us to get some Demolishers up to shoot the Workshop flag, as well as taking the Siege Engine to the Docks to kill the Glaives. Had a little action at the Quarry and Soulparade decided to get up high and heal while we were finishing the ALLY down below. But finally the action dried up, so I decided to see what all the fuss was going on at the Docks! It turns out we had vehicles pushing them to the Ship spawn location at the Docks. Neutralizing an objective so that it is no longer effective, is a strategy used while in war games. Sure, we did not cap the Docks flag to force them to spawn elsewhere, but they can easily not resurrect and run back to their base and spawn back with little to no effort, just time. Which is the name of the game on how to win with the Hangar, slow their team / efforts down on killing your gate to give the Gunship enough time to drop their gate. Notice how when the Gate went down, we left the Docks and headed to their ALLY base to ALL IN and kill the High Commander.
