"Diamond, In, The Rough"

Thanks to a smart suggestion from a good friend, we'll be combining three sports games into one semi-lengthy triple feature for you all, putting this project near the finish line. There's only one more game left to cover now! As for today...

Baseball (0:08) is an okay offering, but it really moves a bit too slow for my liking. There's just not that much content here compared to our other two games on top of that. It's also barely Mario-related with him on the cover and not really looking like himself on the mound. Heh-heh...

Tennis (7:12) is the best of the three games because it is more than a step up from its NES counterpart. Being able to have more control on your shots is always a great thing and still retains the difficulty level settings to make sure it will get the most playtime in the Game Boy.

Golf (14:53), sadly, doesn't do the same. It's a shame because this sequel to the boring NES title now has more to offer with two courses. It's just that not knowing how far the ball is going to travel off of a swing is something that completely brings the game down for me. A future NES golf title, has similar issues, but that's a story for another side game series.

I'll see you all next time for our final video in this series!
