Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Star Cup 200cc
0Next up is the Star Cup, and in this one, I test out a heavyweight character to see how hard they can be to use in 200cc, so in this case, I picked Wario. Heavyweight characters aren't recommended for 200cc because while they do have high speed, they have very low acceleration and handling, and on a very high speed class, they can be very hard to use.
The vehicle combination I went with on Wario is the Badwagon, Monster, and Wario Wing, and with the tracks of the Star Cup being Sunshine Airport, Dolphin Shoals, Electrodrome, and Mount Wario, those are some very tricky courses when using a heavyweight character, as the Star Cup has much harder courses than the previous cups.
I could go over the 200cc Staff Ghosts for the Star Cup, first up is Sunshine Airport, the character used was Luigi, and the vehicle combination is Jet Bike, Metal, and Plane Glider, then for Dolphin Shoals, it is with Ludwig and the vehicle combination is Steel Driver, Blue Standard, and Bowser Kite, then for Electrodrome, the character and vehicle combination that was used was Roy on The Duke, Cushion, and Parafoil, and last Star Cup course is Mount Wario, the character used was Wario, and the vehicle combination was Standard ATV, or Standard Quad in Europe, Crimson Slim, and Wario Wing.
At least we get to see what 200cc is really about when using a heavyweight character, I wanted to show how tough 200cc can be when using one, as this is the highest speed class, and heavyweight characters don't have the best acceleration and handling.
