I am using Mamoswine in this match, this is a Pokémon that was added in the new update for Pokémon UNITE, and before going over Mamoswine, I will list the other players in this match as well.
TheTruth - Venusaur
Rubindiener - Cinderace
dja - Charizard
PouTy - Blissey

The opponent's team of Pokémon.
oggyjon - Eldegoss
Romexio - Crustle
Raclette2Sve - Garchomp
CrimeLp - Mamoswine
Monstre - Talonflame

I could go over the weekly rotation for this week, it is Greninja, Gengar, Mr. Mime, and Garchomp. As with Mamoswine, it was added in the update, and I was not expecting to be a Defender, I was hoping it would be an All-Rounder, but when I looked at its stats, it has good Endurance and decent Offense and Support, but not too great in Mobility and Scoring.
Before going over Mamoswine's moves, its Ability is Thick Fat, and it has many different effects, every time Mamoswine deals damage, its Defense and Special Defense are increased for a short time. It starts off matches as Swinub, and its basic attack becomes a boosted attack every three attacks, it deals damage and stuns opposing Pokémon.
Its starting moves are Ice Shard and Tackle, I recommend starting with Ice Shard, because whenever it uses Ice Shard or any move that replaces it, its next basic attack becomes a boosted attack, and another thing about using Mamoswine is if any moves creates a freezing area of effect inside an ally goal zone, it decreases the goal-scoring speed of opposing Pokémon inside that goal zone.
Back to Swinub's starting moves, Ice Shard has it hurl three chunks of ice at the designated location, and any Pokémon in its area of effect will have their movement speed reduced, and if all three chunks hit, the opposing Pokémon is left frozen for a short time. Tackle is a dash attack that deals damage to opposing Pokémon and throws them.
The Swinub stage is a very rough start, because it isn't until Level 6 that it will evolve into Piloswine and learn either Icicle Crash or Ice Fang, which replace Ice Shard. Icicle Crash deals damage to opposing Pokémon using a large icicle, and it decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokémon, and the icicle remains in place for a short time or when any of Piloswine's moves or boosted attacks hit the icicle, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon and leaving them frozen. If Piloswine uses Tackle on the icicle, it will shatter, leaving the ground covered in ice, and it increases the movement speed of any ally Pokémon that move over it. Ice Fang has Piloswine throw the opposing Pokémon closest to it, and leaving them frozen for a short time, and you can choose a designated location to slam the thrown Pokémon down, and it will deal damage and leave them frozen for a short time.
At Level 8, Piloswine will learn High Horsepower or Earthquake, they replace Tackle. High Horsepower has Piloswine charge in a designated direction, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon and shoving them, and it then stomps its feet, dealing damage and leaving opposing Pokémon unable to act, and it deals increased damage to frozen Pokémon. Earthquake has Piloswine leap at the opposing Pokémon and land forcefully, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon and pulling them towards Piloswine, and they can shatter the icicle formed through Icicle Crash.
At Level 10, Piloswine will evolve into Mamoswine, and its Unite Move is Mammoth Mash, Mamoswine will jump to a designated location and become immune to hindrances, and it will repeatedly stomp the ground, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon in its area of effect and decreasing their movement speed for a short time. The final stomp throws opposing Pokémon in the area of effect.
At Level 12, Icicle Crash or Ice Fang will be upgraded. With Icicle Crash, the final icicle leaves opposing Pokémon unable to act for a short time, and Ice Fang increases the area of effect in which opposing Pokémon are left frozen after being slammed down. At Level 14, High Horsepower or Earthquake are upgraded, High Horsepower increases Mamoswine's speed when charging and the length of time opposing Pokémon are left unable to act, and Earthquake decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokémon for a short time after this move hits and increases its pulling power.
Mamoswine is all about crowd control, its best moves are Icicle Crash and either Earthquake or High Horsepower, and as it is a Defender, it works very well with the newly added Weakness Policy, along with other items like Buddy Barrier, Focus Band, and Muscle Band based on the set used. While it has a very rough early game, and its ability to slow down opposing goals is useful, but it doesn't work when the opposing team has defeated Rotom or Zapdos. It pairs up well with Attackers like Alolan Ninetales, Cramorant, and Pikachu to help them set up, as well as Defenders like Crustle and Blastoise with crowd control.
