The next Pokémon for Surprise Trade is Oddish, so at least I am doing a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation 1. I usually breed for 31 IVs in at least 4 or 5 stats, but there might be rare cases where one Pokémon has 31 IVs in all 6 stats. I went with Bold for the Nature, Modest is a good Nature as well, but Bold is preferred based on whether you want to go with Vileplume or Bellossom for the final evolution, and Modest is a good Nature for Vileplume as it has higher Special Attack.
The Egg Moves I have on the Oddish are Strength Sap, Leech Seed, After You, and Synthesis, so I did pick some good status moves on them, it learns a lot of Egg Moves, like Razor Leaf, Ingrain, Flail, Teeter Dance, Tickle, and Nature Power, I will list which parents in the Grass Egg Group that can learn those moves.
After You: Maractus
Flail: Lotad, Lombre, Ludicolo
Ingrain: Tangela, Roselia, Roserade, Snover, Abomasnow, Tangrowth, Maractus, Foongus, Amoonguss, Ferroseed, Ferrothorn, Phantump, Trevenant, Fomantis, Lurantis, Morelull, Shiinotic
Leech Seed: Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, A-Exeggutor, Roselia, Roserade, Cherubi, Cherrim, Cottonee, Whimsicott, Maractus, Phantump, Trevenant, Comfey, Flapple, Appletun
Nature Power: Lotad, Lombre, Ludicolo, Seedot, Nuzleaf, Shiftry
Razor Leaf: Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Nuzleaf, Shiftry, Snover, Abomasnow, Cottonee, Whimsicott, Fomantis, Lurantis, Grookey, Thwackey, Rillaboom, Gossifleur, Eldegoss
Strength Sap: Morelull, Shiinotic
Synthesis: Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Venusaur, Exeggcute, Exeggutor, A-Exeggutor, Seedot, Nuzleaf, Shiftry, Roselia, Roserade, Maractus, Foongus, Amoonguss, Fomantis, Lurantis, Comfey, Gossifleur, Eldegoss
Teeter Dance: Lombre, Ludicolo
Tickle: Tangela, Tangrowth

A very wide selection of Egg Moves it can learn, I would say that Leech Seed, Strength Sap, and After You are the most nortworthy moves.
As with Oddish, it can evolve into Gloom at Level 21, and you need a Leaf Stone to get Vileplume, or a Sun Stone to evolve into Bellossom. For moves, it can get Absorb, Growth, Acid, Sweet Scent, Mega Drain, Poison Powder, Stun Spore, Sleep Powder, Giga Drain, Toxic, Moonblast, Grassy Terrain, Moonlight, and Petal Dance. As for its final forms, both can learn Petal Blizzard, but for each of them, Vileplume can learn Aromatherapy, while Bellossom can learn Quiver Dance.
Then for TMs and TRs, I will start with both of Oddish's final forms, they can learn Solar Beam, Safeguard, Drain Punch, Bullet Seed, Charm, and Venoshock, and Bellossom learns Magical Leaf. Then for TRs, they can learn Swords Dance, Sludge Bomb, Seed Bomb, Energy Ball, Grass Knot, and Dazzling Gleam. Vileplume learns Body Slam, Sludge Wave, and Pollen Puff, while Bellossom can learn Baton Pass, Uproar, Leaf Blade, Leaf Storm, and Play Rough, and they both learn Grassy Glide as a Tutor move, while Vileplume can get Corrosive Gas.
As for online battles, Vileplume is outclassed by Venusaur as a Chlorophyll user, and if you are wondering, Oddish's Hidden Ability is Run Away, it turns into Stench when it evolves into Gloom, and for the final forms, Vileplume has Effect Spore, and Bellossom has Healer. Effect Spore Vileplume is decent in Single Battles, as it can use moves like Leech Seed and Strength Sap to heal off some damage, while in Double Battles, Vileplume used to see a lot of use along with Torkoal, where it would use After You to make sure Torkoal moved before the opponent and get in a powerful Eruption, but right now, Venusaur is the better Grass/Poison-type Pokémon with Chlorophyll.
Then with Bellossom, it has access to Quiver Dance and Baton Pass, so it can give those boosts to a powerful Special Attack to make them sweep the opposing team. Bellossom can make good use of Strength Sap, and it can use Giga Drain as a damage dealing move, while also healing. Neither of them are that great in online battles, as there are way better Grass-types that outclass both Bellossom and Vileplume.
While the Oddish line has remained a decent Grass/Poison-type since Gen 1, it hasn't been one of the best Pokémon in online battles, so it has usually been a lower tier Pokémon, the only time Vileplume has ever had competitive success was in the early days of Sword & Shield VGC Tournaments where it would be used as a teammate for Torkoal, and that was before Venusaur was available.
