Two things I realized in the last video I put up of Mario Kart Wii: I only showed Coin Runners and omitted any Balloon Battles, which I'll show here; and that my quantity of races outnumbers battles 15 to 1. I strive for equal representation, so here are some more Battle Mode matches--all three in this video Balloon Battles.

I play as Waluigi here, and it turns out the other three players are all using Funky Kong. Is this the anniversary of something? Not all of them are using bikes, after all. I've chosen this one to put up because, as it seems they don't really like me very much. Rooms meant for races turn against me pretty quickly. I find that this also happens in Battle Mode, as it seems by being different, I've earned the wrath of the Funky Kongs. I've never gotten hit so many times in 1 minute and 20 seconds than I did here.

It looks like the Blue Team, which consists of a player and (presumably) his guest, had to leave the Wii to go do something. I notice the map indicator for Rosalina had stopped moving, and after a short while, so did the one for Bowser. I decide not to hit them as they're helpless, but alas, like what I see all too often in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, someone capitalizes on such a thing.
Incidentally, why do people pick Funky Stadium so much? It's too big when you only have a few people around, and it's so hard to hit anyone because everybody is spread out.

For some time, I was gaining all of the points for the Blue Team. Then someone chipped in and gave a point. After some time, points started to pour in and eventually overtook the Red Team's total score despite them dominating in the first half. I thought it was because the rest of the Blue Team had gotten its act together, but looking at the final score chart, it seems to be mainly the work of {SM}Happy.
I gained a lot of BR for this match. I was ranked overall just above [CB]Joanny, a player with a frighteningly high BR, the highest I've ever seen in all of Battle Mode. How is it even possible to get a BR over 7500? Battle Mode is full of people not used to Mario Kart dueling and essentially serve as targets for the other team. Since the winning team gets a 4-point bonus per person when it comes to individual rankings, you'd have to consistently score at least 4 points higher than the second highest-ranked player to continually gain BR.
