With the new Knockout Mode finally released as a new CTGP Update for Mario Kart Wii, players have been asking what is next for CTGP Revolution. On Bean's recent 10 year anniversary CTGP Revolution release stream, Chadderz and Bean both answered questions about what is next for the Custom Track Distribution. They said that they plan Online Time Trials to be added to MKW CTGP as well as dedicated servers. If you didn't know, Mario Kart Wii Online 2021 Wiimmfi currently runs on Peer to Peer so having dedicated servers will be a game changer. It will change Mario Kart Wii Online races and Mario Kart Wii Online gameplay forever. They also said they plan on finishing MKWii 24 Player as well as adding Mission Mode to CTGP in the future. In another stream, Chadderz also announced that he will be working on OpenCTGP. Which will make CTGP Revolution entirely open source without threatening security. These updates will be a game changer to the MKW Community MKWii Online and Mario Kart Wii Custom Tracks as we know it. Plus, this is just the tip of the Iceberg! There are plenty more planned features coming to CTGP Revolution and Mario Kart Wii in the future and I can't wait to see what comes after KO Mode!

KO Mode was just released as a CTGP Update. CTGP Revolution is a Custom Track Distribution for Mario Kart Wii that adds over 200 tracks to the game. Knockout Mode was just released as a CTGP Update and after KO Mode, Bean and Chadderz plan on adding many new features to MKWii that will change the game forever.
Dedicated Servers - Dedicated Servers will be a game changer to the community. Currently Wiimmfi and MKW Online 2021 runs on Peer to Peer connections. So, playing MKWii Online 2021 with dedicated servers will be a game changer. This is something that even Nintendo Switch Online doesn't do! It will fundamentally change Mario Kart Wii Online gameplay as we know it.
Online Time Trials - Online Time Trials is a Custom Gamemode for Mario Kart Wii that essentially allows you to play Wiimmfi Online with a Time Trial. The gamemode blew up and many competitive Mario Kart Wii players love the gamemode. Bean plans on making his own edition to Online TT's to add to CTGP Revolution. I can't wait to see the new Online TT in action!
Finishing 24 Player - This is on the to do list to get 24 Players in MKW out of the Sub Beta. There are still plenty of bugs that need to be fixed with this Custom Gamemode.
Mission Mode - Mission Mode has been requested a bunch over the years to be added to CTGP. We were unsure whether or not this would ever be added to CTGP due to the status of Rule Voting, but it appears we have an answer into the state of Custom Missions.
OpenCTGP - OpenCTGP will be an open sourced version of CTGP Revolution without threatening security. This will be huge for the modding scene of Mario Kart Wii. I can't wait to see what projects come out of it.
