This is the last Duel Mode board in Mario Party 3, and this one is unlocked in the Story Mode. This is Backtrack, I play as Daisy for this one, and choose Waluigi for the CPU player. Daisy's advantage in Duel Mode is her Snifit partner which has a chance of giving her some coins, but against Waluigi's Piranha Plant which has the highest attack power out of all the partners in the game, and it has a chance of an extra dice roll of 1 to 3 can make Waluigi a very challenging opponent in Duel Mode.
The main gimmick of Backtrack is the Reverse Spaces, if a player steps on one, they cause players to go the opposite direction, and this also changes the position of partners, for example, if you have Snifit at from and Chain Chomp at the back, if you step on a Reverse Space, Chain Chomp would be at the front, while Snifit would be at the back, this is good for these kinds of partners that have balanced stats, but not for partners like Whomp which cannot attack directly.
Because of how short this board ended up being, not giving away the results, it could be Waluigi getting some hard hits with his Piranha Plant or I do well with the partners I get. The only minigame to show up was Game Guy's Lucky 7, this is because there are only two Minigame Spaces on this board, and Belltop is on the southern part of the board.
I have decided to show you Peach's Castle, because I don't want the video to be too short, and the stone images in the background are constructed based on the character you beat the Story Mode with. Peach's Castle is the Options Mode for this game, there is the Sound Room, where you can listen to sounds and music, and the Data Room, where you can check your data on boards and minigames. I do have the Minigame Mode to show, as there are some secrets you can unlock there, and there were some minigames that have not made an appearance while going through the boards.
