After picking a character that starts with an offensive partner, today I'd like to change that up use a character that starts with a defensive partner. That's the beauty of this Duel Mode. Everybody you can use comes with a different strategy and point of view when it comes to tackling these boards. It's the whole reason why I'm not playing this entire mode with the same character after all...

Mario Party 3 is the final Mario Party game to release on the Nintendo 64 and comes with some new tricks to the party as you may expect. Other than new boards, new mini-games and new board rules this game also comes with some bigger changes like a separate Story Mode, the new Duel Mode and new types of mini-games. After the mysterious Millennium Star crashed on Mario's world, a Mario Party must be held to determine who may keep this powerful star. A party to be held in his mysterious toy box. This party is going to be a party to never forget for Mario's gang.
